After their sell out gig at the Amersham Arms last month, The SKA Burlesque showcases east of the river for a night of Two-Tone fun and fancy frolics.
Continuing to combine the best of London’s burlesque and Ska acts, the line up for The Ska Burlesque’s east London debut sees the event go from strength to strength.
Burlesque Acts Appearing On Friday 16th November
Fancy Chance – Burlesque comedy performer and self-confessed, ‘small but very loud person’. Fancy Chance is a lady looking to innovate, fumigate and exaggerate the world of burlesque as we know it. (http://www.myspace.com/veeness ).
Honey Lulu – Inspired by classic Burlesque Queens, retro movies and Illustrations Honey Lulu loves to dance, bump and grind and entertain people. With Corsets, Tassel’s and fans, the order of the day, in true Burlesque style

Stella Plumes - Having won the best newcomer award at the London Burlesque Festival and featured in Time Out, Stella takes her rightful place as our headline performer. Watch as shy Enid Brown becomes sexy Stella Plumes live on stage. (http://www.myspace.com/stellaplumes).
Agent Lynch - 1960s Burlesque starlet and Bond girl style pin up model, Agent Lynch has infiltrated the scene through a series of top secret performances throughout London. This sexy B-movie style vixen is now working undercover at the SKA Burlesque. She may look sweet and innocent but what has she got in her garter?

Live Bands Appearing On Thursday 18th October
Bogus Gasman - Rising from the ashes of Toy and atonal punks Kittenhead Gearshifter like a phoenix from a colostomy bag, the latest incarnation of the many headed beast that is Bogus Gasman burst into life in the summer of 2003 screaming and spraying an unsuspecting public with sweat, amniotic fluids and dub laced hardcore. What they lack in covers they make up for in brass, fat old basslines and guitars that go chk chk chk chk. (http://www.myspace.com/bogusgasman )
Original Muzik Enterprise - With laid back catchy grooves, OME write music with the intention of making people dance. The lyrics are a social commentary about the world in which the band members live and are often quite political. The songs on their E.P. describe their local area, the burden of getting up at 6am to go to work and the rise of gangs and gun crime across South London.
